Yoga practice demands attention to detail and encourages breathing patterns synchronised with movement. The effect after each practice session was that I felt enlivened and energised and at the same time there was a deep sense of relaxation and serenity. I felt rejuvenated and the more regularly I practiced, the more I touched a feeling of stillness and peace. Because this practice resonated so deeply with me, it was clear that my work would involve sharing with others the many benefits of Yoga as a healing modality.
I have been teaching for the last 15 years having received two in-depth Yoga Teaching Certifications accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance(UK and US). Over the last several years I have trained and complemented my teaching with Somatic Movement, a floor-based series of sequences which have a nurturing and healing quality. Somatic Movement enriched the teachings I was already offering and I continue to train in this field on a yearly basis as my own practice and my teaching style continues to evolve.
