Fazila has been teaching for the last 20 years and has been a practitioner of Yoga for over 30 years.
These unique classes are rooted in Hatha Yoga, Somatic Movement, Breathing, and Meditation. Through a series of interrelated practices, you will learn how to dissolve tension and stress, reset the nervous system, strengthen your body & mind and elevate your overall quality of life.
Practices include dynamic weight-bearing yoga sequences with emphasis on fluidity and precision and yin-style restorative somatic movement to enhance subtle body awareness and restore natural efficient movement patterns. These classes are about nourishment and well-being.
Fazila has been teaching for the last 20 years and has been a practitioner of Yoga for over 30 years. Her teachers and her training have influenced her style of teaching and combined the Iyengar and Krishnamacharya yoga traditions with Hanna Somatic Education.
